Our network of Wellbeing Advocates spans South Australia, offering comprehensive support in various areas:
- Claims Assistance: We guide family members through the Department of Veteran Affairs claims process.
- Advocacy: We represent veterans at the Veterans Review Board.
- Counselling Support: Emotional support during crises or bereavement.
- Financial Assistance: Help with managing financial challenges.
- Support for Aging Family Members: Assisting families in caring for elderly veterans.

Meet Our Wellbeing Advocates
Our dedicated Wellbeing Advocates are here to provide essential support to veterans, spouses, widows/widowers, and family members. They can provide advice on accessing:
- Meals on Wheels: Ensuring that aged veterans have access to nutritious meals.
- Home Care Services: Information on the availability of home care services to enable veterans to continue living independently.
- Home Nursing Visits: Arranging for veterans to be visited and supported in nursing homes.
- Help with Household Tasks: Providing information on eligibility for home care services such as domestic assistance, personal care, lawn mowing, and house maintenance.
- Convalescent Care: Supporting veterans who are convalescing from a compensable injury.
- Respite Care: Information on respite care and emergency respite care, which serves as backup when a carer needs a break or cannot provide care for some reason.
- Aged Care: Offering information and access to resources related to aged care.
- Aids and Appliances: Programs that provide aids and appliances for elderly veterans.
- Bereavement Support: Being there and aiding during times of loss, including advice on funeral arrangements, bereavement payments, and funeral expenses.
- Support for Widows and Widowers: Referring to appropriate support services and assisting in identifying and applying for financial assistance like pensions and other allowances.
