Meet Our Wellbeing Advocates

Our dedicated Wellbeing Advocates are here to provide essential support to veterans, spouses, widows/widowers, and family members. They can assist with:

  • Advice on funeral arrangements: we can provide advice and assist in funeral arrangements suitable for veterans. For example, eulogies, the ode, and the playing of the Last Post and Rouse.
  • Bereavement payments, we can assist and provide advice on eligibility and applying for bereavement.
  • Funeral expenses: we can assist and provide advice on eligibility and applying for funeral expenses.
  • Support for Widows, and Widowers: Referring to appropriate support services and assisting in identifying and applying for financial assistance like pensions and other allowances.
  • No veteran alone: we believe that all veterans should be provided with a dignified funeral and that no veteran should be buried alone. We can arrange for ex-service to attend funerals of those without family.
