Supporting South Australian Veterans and Their Families

Military Advocates SA is a dedicated not-for-profit organisation committed to assisting veterans and their families across South Australia during times of injury, illness, and crisis.

Our experienced Wellbeing Advocates provide crucial support to the families of veterans.

Robe To Recovery

Military Advocates SA works in partnership with Robe to Recovery a community based respite program.

Robe to Recovery is an initiative based in the seaside town of Robe, South Australia, that provides respite for returned Australian Defence Force veterans and their families.

The program offers a supportive community and beautiful surroundings where veterans can find solace and relaxation.

During the off-season when the town is quiet and holiday homes are empty, Robe to Recovery helps approximately a dozen veterans.

Local restaurants and businesses contribute by donating vouchers for food or activities, and each veteran receives a personalized note expressing gratitude for their service.

If you’re a veteran or know someone who is, you can get in touch with them via email at veterans@r2r.org.au
