Welcome to the Limestone Coast Veterans Hub (LCVH), an initiative by Military Advocates SA.
Our hub provides essential services and support for veterans and their families. Located at the Mount Gambier RSL, LCVH offers a safe and welcoming space where veterans can access various resources.
The LCVH was set up as an outreach of the Plympton Veteran Centre , now called Military Advocates SA to provide compensation and wellbeing services to Veterans in the South East of South Australia.
Services and Facilities
1. Video Conferencing Facilities
Our video conferencing facilities allow veterans to communicate with Compensation Advocates and other services remotely. Whether you need assistance with claims or have questions, our video conferencing setup ensures that you can connect with the right people.
Printer and Scanning Facilities
LCVH provides access to printers and scanners. Veterans can use these facilities for printing important documents, scanning paperwork, or creating hard copies of essential materials.
Computer Access
Stay connected and informed with our computer access area. Veterans can use our computers to browse the internet, access online resources, and stay up to date with relevant information.
Online Courses
LCVH offers access to online courses.
Outreach and Advocacy
Military Advocates SA Vehicle Visits
Our advocates regularly visit other Military Advocates SA outreach hubs using our dedicated Military Advocates SA vehicle. We understand that some veterans may not be able to visit the LCVH in person, so we bring our services to them. Our advocates visit hospitals, aged care facilities, and veterans’ homes in Mount Gambier and surrounding areas.
Robe Outreach
Every second Monday of the month, our advocate visits Robe. If you’re in the Robe area, feel free to drop by between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm to meet with our advocate.
