Supporting South Australian Veterans and Their Families

In the past year, approximately 5.3% of veterans, which is about 6,000 individuals, have experienced homelessness. This rate is 3% higher than that of the broader population. Unfortunately, veterans are often less likely to seek support, with those under 35, transitioning veterans, and women being the most at risk.

Our Commitment to Housing

At Military Advocates SA, we recognize the unique challenges faced by our veterans. Our team of experienced Wellbeing Advocates, who are veterans themselves, offer empathy and understanding. We are committed to helping you access the necessary support for housing-related issues, including:

Affordable Housing: Assisting in finding long-term, affordable housing solutions.

Crisis and Temporary Housing: Providing immediate housing options for veterans and their families in need.
Connections to Support Agency: Connecting you to agencies that can offer additional support.
Homelessness Support: Offering resources and assistance to those without a home.
Legal Housing Issues: Helping veterans facing legal challenges that affect their housing situation, such as court appearances, visitation orders, or domestic violence.
