Our Sub-Branch is a proud cornerstone of support and camaraderie in the Millicent community.

We provide an outreach centre for Military Advocates SA.

Here’s what we offer:

Location & Facilities

  • Address: RSL Hall, North Terrace, Millicent, SA 5280
  • Features: A stand-alone building amidst tranquil parkland, featuring an office, commercial kitchen, hall, and a separate small building.
  • Parking: We offer ample car parking for our members and guests.
  • Accessibility: Wheelchair access, Accessible toilets, Accessible parking.

Membership & Opening Hours

  • Open To: Both ex-military personnel and civilians.
  • Join Us: We welcome new memberships from those who have served and those who wish to support our cause.
  • Hours: We’re open most Fridays from 7:00 PM until late.

Our Mission

The RSL Millicent Sub-branch is committed to the welfare of our district’s veterans. Partnering with Military Advocates SA and Legacy, we support veterans and the families of those who have sacrificed for our nation. We pay tribute to our veterans through commemorative services on ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and other significant occasions, and through educational outreach in local schools.

Services Offered

  • Support Network: A community for veterans to connect and support each other.
  • Welfare: General welfare services for veterans.
  • Outreach: Services for veterans and their families in need, that is connected to the Military Advocates SA Network.
  • Advocacy: Referrals to advocates for rehabilitation and compensation claims.
  • Video Conferencing: On-site facilities for face-to-face consultations with advocates.
  • Community Services: Connections to additional community-based services.
  • Research: Support for family military history research.
  • Service Records: Assistance with obtaining service records for veterans and their families.
  • Medals: Assistance with medal acquisition and advice on medal protocols.
  • Community & Commemoration: Social activities and leading commemorative events.
